Privacy Policy

You may be aware that the laws have changed regarding the privacy of your personal information and the way that we hold and use your details - GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).  The contact information that we receive from you is only used by us to reply to your booking enquiries, for follow on information and for an annual update email at the end of each year.

We do not sell or pass on your details to third parties, however our website contains links to other websites or services.  Please note that we are not responsible for the content or privacy policies these websites or services may have in place.  We advise that you use caution and refer to these websites or services own privacy policies and terms and conditions.
 

For Self-Catering bookings

1. Bookings may be made provisionally by telephone, but must be confirmed, by email and the 20% (non-refundable) deposit must be paid within 1 week of booking by Paypal or BACS. By booking and sending a deposit, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. On receipt of payment we will send confirmation of your booking – please check the details carefully. The balance of payment must be made at least 6 weeks prior to your arrival date – should this not be received we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

2. A security deposit of €50 to cover minor damage to the house and its contents is required and should be paid either with your final payment, or by cash on arrival.

3. Please leave the rooms in a clean and tidy condition.

4. Available from 4pm on day of arrival, and should be vacated by 10am on your day of departure.

5. Should you need to cancel your stay for any reason after the deposit or final payments have been made, please inform us in writing. Cancellation is subject to the following charges:- Less than 7 days - no refund; 8 to 28 days - 30% refund; 29 days to 6 weeks prior to arrival - 50% refund; more than 6 weeks - 80% refund.

General

6. Please report any problems or breakages to us straight away to enable us to rectify the problem.

7. No additional guests are allowed other than those stated at the time of booking.

8. Personal belongings plus travel and medical insurance are your responsibility. By booking to stay at Maison Laudiere, you are confirming that you have adequate travel and medical insurance in place for your visit.

9. Our liability will not exceed the amount paid to us for the rental period. We are not responsible or liable for any loss damage, injury, expense or other situation to the hirer or any member of his party or to the personal property owned or used by the hirer or his party arising out or in connection with this booking. It is pointed out that there are some low beams and, in some cases, steep steps and we expressly point out that these are covered by the limitation of our liability. We will not accept any liability for loss or damage to vehicles or their contents or to personal property,
